They didn't include goalkeepers. It did include the Republic Of Ireland which I don't really consider abroad (but I guess it is!). I've only included players I have seen.
1. Vas Borbokis, fantastic for us, best free kick taker I have seen for us. He was the first real attacking full back I had seen for us, a trailblazer I guess!
2. Enda Stevens, we've all seen how good he has been for us this season.
3.Roger Nelson, we got him when foreign players were still seen as exotic (even ones from Norway). A classy player, even if he made one mistake every game (© HodgysBrokenThumb ).
4. John Egan, should really be number three but didn't want to overweight my top three with current Irish players!
5.Jan Aage Fjortoft, one of the best goalscorers I have seen for us.
6. Paul Mcgrath, superb even though his knees had gone and he played hungover.
7. Tri Dellas, I loved him such a powerful player who was more skillful than he looked. Scored a couple of brilliant long range goals and helped Greece win the Euros 04.
8. Stephen Quinn, a great start in the Premier League and a reliable midfielder.
9.Jostein Flo, our superstar in 1993 who perhaps didn't quite live up to his reputation (hopefully Sander Berge will and will make this list in the future).
10. Michael Vonk, tough tackling borderline dirty centre half. You've been Vonked!!
Finally a question. Name two United players who were born in Germany?
