I'm (hopefully) off to this one. The first SUFC game in this season's Premier League Cup. It's the Group Stage - we play Ipswich, West Brom & Villa home & away. Second game in a week for the U23s. Should be a good 'un.

Team news & live updates on my Twitter feed in due course.
Report & Beer on the Blog later.

I've written my Blog report from today's U23 defeat.
I thought David Parkhouse was a lot more greedy, selfish & direct today. Good, that's what I was hoping for, he's a striker.
Ben Heneghan had a mixed game. Great headers out of defence, but a bit sloppy at times.
We missed a Penalty & had a great, dominant spell.
For some unknown reason, today saw the Return of The Long Throw. Me no likee.
Anyways - there's beer an' all.

Thanks Phil as usual a great review of the game. Good first half and if Hallam had scored the penalty I think we would have kicked on.
Your comment on Henneghan was spot on but the others in the defence were all strong in the air but our distribution from the back and the mid field was not up to our usual standard.
We do drop off after about an hour and it's difficult to understand and the goal should have been cleared by Graham first and then Heneghan. I think we miss Slater, I am certain he would have broken up an Ipswich session of 20 or more consecutive passing, a bit embarrassing really.
I thought we were a bit subdued today even our coaches were quiet and that's unusual
I still can't understand why we seem to drop of in the final 30 mins we allowed our opposition to grow into the game which finished with Ipswich controlling things. Would have been different if Wright or Slater's aggression had been
available
Pleasant day though

What is Slater's injury?
Any one know how long Callum Semple will be?

Regan Slater is suspended after a straight red. He will be back in a week or so.

Callum Semple could be back by early December. Has a slight leg strain but apparently that is normal after being out for so long with his injury. Started running again.
