The manager was at the game. I'd play Flynn instead of Coutts. We need players who can get up there and score occasionally ( Yes Woolford has scored goals over his career and Adkins knows that).

Personally I'd make Coutts work very, very hard at earning his first team place.

Coutts has scored 6 goals in 216 games in English league football.

2 good goals them. Good to see Flynn getting back to some sort of match fitness. I think his qualities have been sorely missed.

Now go do it in the first team !

Good that he can be seen in the shop window for me. Another lightweight that needs offloading.

That's shocking tbh. He's got it in him to burst forward with those driving runs - needs to be doing it much more often than he's shown so far (especially with Brayford behind him now).

Yep. I didn't know that. That is not the player that we needed or need now. IMHO. Slaughter me because I didn't see him this week when he apparently had a good game but at the moment we seem to have too many similar player in midfield. Has anybody else picked up on that?

He is what he is, maybe.

It's all about who plays alongside him. At the moment we have 3 others who couldn't hit a barn door!!

When fully fit Flynn will play, could be a big player in the second half of the season,
A real team player, who has been a regular for every manager he's played for.

Keep Coutts and drop Woolford. Flynn prefers to play on the left

If on;y a manager's life were as simple as "him or him". You would, I wouldn't and that's only him and him. It's all about partnerships and blends of players' qualities. Who'd be a manager? Who'd be a fan?

What the strikers need is input from and support from midfield. It seems Coutts has spent a career in his own half!

Let me add that some weeks ago I made a case for Coutts/ Hammond central midfield partnership. Basham complicates that scenario. It's sterile.

If we could get Wallace fit and keep....
Ugh who am I kiddin!?
Great to see Flynn back though.
I wasn't his biggest fan when he first can but now we are crying out for a proper winger I can't wait to have him back in the side.

Ryan Flynn hasn't scored in his last 33 league appearances, dating back to September 2014.

I cannot remember his last league assist.

Yet another midfielder with not enough end product.

Good player on his day, but another one who is far too inconsistent and decides to turn up when he feels like it.
