You won’t find any good pubs up there Phil, I’m afraid.

I did the Something Brew Inn. Micropub with Chantry & Bradfield on. But, I didn't get the chance to try the Little Haven Micropub further down the hill towards Parkgate.

OK you Monkeys. I've written & published my Blog from the U18s away at Parkgate. Or, more importantly, from the launch of six Double Dry Hopped IPAs (6.5%), with Hops specially selected from Yakima. The Blog has teasing details of Jack Lester's first day in his new role in charge of the Shirecliffe Academy. And our old friend Hat Trick Hero. And, even though I say myself, a great picture emphasising the Wonderful & Frightening World Of The Carrier Bag Firm. Have a go...

Always enjoy reading your reports on here and your blogs.

Football and Beer, the greatest combination that the good lord invented.

I like the Cloudwater stuff usually, a mate of mine went to their place in Manchester last week and was surprised that a lot of their beers were only 3.50 a pint, they have a reputation of charging the earth.

Slide side track, but Mrs Grappler called in at Aldi for something or other, when passing the other day (I don't know, "food", or whatever it is that women buy), and came back with about 8-10 cans of decent beers all between 99p and 1.29 a can!, some interesting looking stuff, and more palatable than the 6.50 a pint for Camden Pale at Tramlines!
