I’d want to see confirmation that he’s got glass hamstrings before we even consider spunking £20 million on anyone young with potential from a Merseyside club.

I don’t want us bringing in anyone fully fit and able to cope with 46 games

I was impressed with him at the Lane until his play acting cost Blackburn the game 😅

When Klopp goes there’s a small chance that Liverpool won’t have an absolute cunt for a manager. I doubt it though, most people turn into cunts as soon as they step into Merseyside.

Wonder if Wilder would ask Liverpool how much it would cost to have our pants down for the young midfielder who is currently on loan at Hull.

Looking to next season.
He is very very good. Don’t think he would be for sale.

Him and Arblaster are Eng U21 players would be an amazing coup if we could get him on loan next season.

Player that rhymes... I wonder if we could get Wharton on loan from Palace.

Edit: If they buy a few in summer. As he seems to be starting regularly at the moment.

With Arblaster/Brooks/Peck do we really need a youth CM on loan? Rather get defenders/attacking players on loan.
I think we probably need another long term building block CM permanently in the summer given I think Souza will leave and Davies is struggling to get and stay fit. On top of that I think we probably do need a flair type of loanee similar to MGW/McAtee given we’re unlikely to be able to afford to sign that type of player.

I agree mate but I mean someone abit older then 20/21 for CM as we have our own. Similar age to Souza would be fine.

David Brooks I'd love on loan for the CAM role.

Agreed, if you think we'll need 6 CMs to cover the 3 spots (with Peck as 7, and Oz as a backup there as well), I imagine we'll have Hamer, Blaster, Brooks and Davies for next season - so 2 required in my book.

I'd agree with the 'one solid, one flair' approach - you'd say Blaster and Hamer would start most weeks so then you start one of the newbies depending on what time of game.

Extremely obvious rumour for Nixon to fill column inches. But he does sometimes have contacts.

Hopefully wouldn't stunt Peck too much, but makes total sense otherwise.

Peck shouldn't be expected to start from now until the end of the season. If anything that level of demand and pressure would stunt him more than coming on from the bench and starting games here and there.

Absolutely. But still want him getting plenty of game time.

When I first saw this I was a immediate NO we can't afford another inexperienced player but looked at his stats He played in 39 games for Hull last season, only 4 as substitute and mostly played 90 mins. If we don't take him he needs to go somewhere because he is going backwards at Liverpool

Haven't we already got Shackleton, Peck and Davies to fill that role?

Played 40 at Blackburn the season before too. He's not inexperienced at this level.

The question is, if BBD is one, would this mean no CF, presumably using BBD centrally if there’s an issue with Campbell or Moore?

i would say so i think bbd could play anywhere across a front 3 left side is his preferred position i think but we know he will score goals at this level and hes just the type were lacking just now think he could also play in a front 2 with either moore or campbell

The beauty of signing BBD is that it opens up different options.

He can play off the left & play through the middle and I'm confident he'd work well in a pair.
Bringing him in would also free up Hamer to play deep in the double pivot, or at 10 where O'Hare's been playing.
All of the sudden we'd be blessed with versatile options and strong cover / rotation possibilities.

Morton would further enhance things and ensure we weren't too reliant on a fragile Tom Davies or an inexperienced Sydie Peck.

I worry about hamer deeper he is constantly wrong side of his man and gives the ball away more than any professional footballer I have ever seen

Higher up the pitch this is less of a problem and when his one in
Ten Hollywood pass comes off it can be pivotal like the campbell sending off the other night

He's careless with the ball and when he loses it , he often commits a petulant foul which leads to quite a few bookings.
We pay a price for his occasional but significant bits of quality.

Wasn't he at fault for our goal against Bburn? Losing the ball cheaply and then giving up on working to get the ball back.
