Hopefully it's good that Bolton will have played twice before we play again, so pressure on them.

Fleetwood are at home to Swindon who are picking up and away to Oxford next Wednesday who will need the 3 points.
 
Just need 8 points, doesn't matter about the rest 2 wins 1 draw does it, and the other 3 games are for the Crown!!

We are already there, not mathematically but we played at a cantor tonight against a team with everything to play for.

I'll say it...... EVEN THE BLADES CAN'T SCREW IT UP THIS TIME.
 
God almighty, I remember when we went down League One. I was just about to take my GCSE's, I actually vividly remember being sat in school library receiving agent Wilson taunts,Ched based banter and countless Simonsen penalty has been discovered in space jokes.

In the time that has elapsed since, i've finished my GCSE's, gone to Sixth form, gone to University which i'll of finished in May and for some reason this result and the fact that now we're FINALLY GOING TO BLOODY DO IT. Has really hammered home, which an almighty thump, just what a long time this has been. Just what a long time of it's been of having to compete in the FA cup 1st round and JTP (or whatever the hell it's called now), what a long time of having to click on the league one tab to see what's happening in our league, What a long time being relegated with the footballing minnows and having to see teams like Bury and Oldham play at the lane, instead of the Newcastle, Notts Forrest, them across the city, Leeds etc etc.

And the endless cycle of hope and despair. 'Okay Wilson maybe an Owl but he's a decent manager at this level but he can play a decent style of football!'....'right okay shame with Wilson, but we've got an new upcoming in Weir. Loads of championship clubs wanted him don't you know?'......"Okay, okay, okay..Weir turned out to be useless but now we've got Clough, we've got the Prince we've just got to the semi-finals of sodding FA cup you wait next season we'll blitz it'.......'Oh my days! No sodding idea what happened with Clough but it's okay we've gone and got Adkins, getting teams out of League One is just sort of what he does, you wait this year it's on!......'Oh for f*ck sake, how did that not work!, okay we've gone and got a blade don't know too much about him, lets see how it goes although i'm not confident after these first few games!'

It means a lot to me that after all that time i'm going to (we hope) see Sheffield United get out of this sodding league. Because I very much doubt i'll be in Sheffield for much longer but it'll be great leaving a city whose club is on it's way back where it belongs.

Agreed, I said 84 points for 2nd weeks ago and stick by it, but can't see finishing on less than 90.

True, but I'd rather just concentrate on us for now, focus on 8 points and the rests a bonus!!

We are in form, with the easier of the fixtures coming up. Unbeaten in 11, no real injuries to our key players.

Even if so, we can cope. Sharp been off boil last 3 games and 2 wins and a draw.

We are as good as promoted. 6 clean sheets wins it.
 
One more win will do it. Fleetwood are unlikely to get more than 16 points from 7 games.

One win and two draws will certainly do it.

Beating Millwall has almost made it too easy! I had this down as one we could easily drop points in.

But.... it's not only promotion is it. We need to win the league as well. Four wins should guarantee we do that.
 
Please God not at Northampton , I've got Blades coming over from Toronto & Sydney for Easter and the match at Port Vale to see us promoted and home to Bradford for the title. Just our luck if the Blades go and overachieve for the first time !
 



Yeah but what about Moore getting his head up and rolling the ball out. A major area for concern.
