Chris said absolutely everything that I am feeling.

I love you Tufty.

By the way Freeman's cross, Lavery's brave header and Billy's desire won this. Nothing else.

Magic.

Agree with every word. Hugely important result but even when considering the circumstances that performance was sub par.

If this guy doesn't get us up, this season or the next then no fucker will.

Honesty. Impressing me more and more this man.

We are lucky he's a Blade otherwise he would already be being tempted by bigger offers from the Leagues above.

There were a lot of weaknesses tonight, but extenuating circumstances mean the players deserve a good degree of slack.
That won't be allowed going forward if there is any likelihood of promotion.
Well done one and all tonight. Big praise for our fans in shocking circumstancrs.

We floundered a bit after their freakily deflected equaliser
kudos to CW for seeing it and adapting the team , making changes and we started to make them work again . Lavery was very unlucky not to score before their star man Sisuout handed us the momentum

Nice that a manager sees what we see....and isn't afraid to say it. No flowered up shite, no cliches...just an honest opinion on the game and both sides.

Also nice that I know that all of those players will be getting hammered for the lack of urgency and intensity from the off. Even though we got the win Wilder will be on them all pushing them to sort it out.

Midfield tonight just didn't cut it. They were wasteful too often, Coutts in particular drifted in and out of the game and only Duffy looked to be a threat. Fleck too had probably his worst game.
Saying that, they did have moments and it's a positive that they have shown so much that we can be critical of a performance like today's.

The midfield today was piss poor and had as bad a game as i can remember them having this season. They struggled to pass water between em tonight and gave little service to the front lads. That said, they did still battle and they cant always be at the top of their games like saturday.

I think the atmosphere effected the players more than we probably realised and they too probably thought it was all a bit surreal.

Tonight was a night for grabbing the 3 points by whatever way necessary and getting back to Sheffield with a grin and the job done. Well done to the team for getting the points despite being far from their best. Could be a priceless 3 points that come the end of the season.

Lavery looks better than I could've ever hoped for

Excellent analysis from Wilder again. Poor from us tonight but ridiculous circumstances for us to play in. Aside from the nonsense in the stands, the fact we were playing on a non league at best standard pitch meant we had to show other qualities aside from our passing football. We struggle with this at times and got out muscled far too many times but we got the 3 points from our worst performance since August

Let's not forget Paul Coutts picked up a nasty injury after five minutes, that must have diminished his influence. But, yes, we were not ourselves, at least by the high standards we have set this season, Duffy excepted (he showed his sheer class again). The pitch and circumstances didn't help. We ought to be careful not to knock a team that is giving us some great football simply because they are not at their best every game. No team is. It doesn't help to label them "shit" or "poor" on such occasions, not least because it isn't accurate.

Three points. Bank them.

Yet, still 17 shots with 6 on target, the majority of possession and more corners won. Way ahead of the opposition. That's quite a good "poor" I think.

Thats it. Start a desso debate why don't you. Another 200 pages. Who they going to sell to pay for it? ...... :)

not a good game for us, but terrific result.

Shit pitch probably didn't help, for both Coutts and Fleck to have a poor game is unusual, but Lavery and Sharp are the highlights if you're a glass half type of guy

Sharp the match winner but Lavery gets an assist to go with satdys goal and was a bit unlucky not to have a goal himself. How long he can away with the same trick onto his right foot we shall see but he'll probably have few defenders cope with it at this level

To be honest that game was a nightmare.

I thought Sky and Wilder were maybe a little harsh on our performance. It wasn't great, but didn't think they made much more in the way of chances second half than we did. Lavery hit the post twice, Fleck forced a save (maybe should have done better) and Duffy drilled a shot which was a good save. Don't remember Moore having to do much.

The whistles were dreadful, didn't think enough was made of that. Must have been bloody hard for players with that going on.
