Sheffield United are playing Port Vale at home in League One - the old Third Division.

The newly promoted Port Vale side (formerly managed by Micky Adams) take on the newly-relegated Sheffield United side (currently managed by Micky Adams) and the game is watched by the same 84,297 people that watched the game against Port Vale on 23rd November 1999 that the Midlanders were incredibly fortunate to win by 3 goals to 1.

Sheffield United have never won a game whilst Micky Adams has been managing them and the evening air is full of tension and expectation as game number 41 in his reign kicks off.
