After lap of appreciation there was someone flat out near gangway D . Sounded like something had gone off but stewards nowhere in sight. Anyone know what happened

Sorry didn't see that just saw incident as we came out and someone laid out on Bramall Lane

Eyh it's not that bad on there. The gcb song is sung quite well. Love my place behind dugout

Somebody joined in with the GCB and the south stand didn’t like it one bit

Oi!

The miserable old gits in John Street disappeared at the final whistle leaving the stand about 15% full for the players walk around.

Presumably rushed home to see in Jimmy Clithroe was back on TV early Saturday evenings

On a day of several disappointments this fucked me right off..people couldn' be arsed to show their appreciation for 15 mins. Probably been on phone with Samaritans all night after recent results.

I was in the South Stand yesterday and observed what I observe most weeks in there. Two or three blokes who always turn up late, about 10 minutes after the start of the game, cause major disruption finding a seat, then get up 10 mins later to go to the toilet, then get up 5 mins before half time to go for a beer or three. Then come back 10 minutes late for the second half and repeat.

They are youngish lads, I'd say, early 30's. One of them brings his little daughter with him, another one brings his son, the kids look about 7 and 9 maybe. When things are not going well the bloke with the young daughter seems to get very easily upset. Under Adkins it was happening every week. Him and his mates used to depart the ground 5 or 10 mins early with a round of foul abuse aimed at the dugout. Early on last season they did the same when we were on the initial poor streak. A tirade of abuse aimed at Wilder.

Yesterday was a bit different though. Midway through the second half he stood up to give some verbal to an older guy sat near to him. What all that was about I don't know, but maybe the older guy had got fed up with his constant up and downing to the bar and bogs. All I know is, on leaving the old guy was wishing him goodbye and good riddance - and the kid was letting out some right abuse at this old guy, including "you'll be dead in a year!" - which I thought was lower than low. And all this in front of two young kids - what a fine role model! And what future do those kids have, being brought up by some lout like that, with no regard for others or any sense of common public decency?

I despair, I really do.

Welcome to S2. We do have some absolute penises supporting us

Feel free to come to south stand and watch me sing it anytime
I was in there yesterday and it must’ve been you I was joining in with then. Just a joke mind, the whole ground was like a morgue yesterday. Didn’t expect any different with nothing to play for and a performance like that one of course.
