Not since the half time withdrawal of Lee Baxter at half time following an awful first half display has a statement of intent being echoed via the medium of subs.
Did something happen at half time, were these player wilting under increased pressure from the fans, were they not willing to play for the manager, were they infact undermining the managers choices and have we seen the last of them?
I jest slightly, Reed probably deserves more time purely down to his age but Collins and Baxter could well have kicked their last ball in the red and white stripes of Sheff U.
It was a clear intent from Adkins that he's not the David Brent character we see/hear in interviews and can get touch with a group who seem to have gone from a dictatorship to free rein in a short period of time with 2 different managers.
There were more than a few 'not fit to wear the shirt' last night and i hope they're made examples of and left out for the foreseeable future.
