I'm not in the camp of "anyone but Blackwell" yet.

If people want Blackwell out because he is an unproven and inexperienced manager, what exactly are we going to achieve by appointing Adams?!

The problem is the sacking of managers every season will never bring long term success.

I agree if things start to slip away we need to think but how many games would someone like Adams get if he came in?

It's stupid to appoint anyone if after 16 games you will sack him. That's all he got at Pompey!

Adams should never have been given the Job in the first place.The job should have gone to an experianced campainer such as Venables.

The jury's still out on Blackwell in my opinion. OK we haven't done great in the 'big' games, in fact pretty shocking, but the football we are playing, as poor as it is, is surely effective to an extent?

We are still in a play-off position and with our squad, I don't think we can expect to be higher than 3rd/4th realistically.

He wasn't "shocking" at Wycombe, but he certainly didn't pull up any trees. I seem to remember him getting a lot of draws down there.

If he were to be brought in, I wouldn't mind him coming in - in a coaching capacity. If he could sort our defensive line and also improve any techniques amongst them, then I'd be more than happy for him to join us.

He could work as a defensive coach, but no more responisibility than that, he's definitely not a manager!
