To all the fans on the kop who booed Lee Hendrie when he was warming up pitchside today, what was your reasoning behind booing him?

If it was because what happened last weekend with Morgan? if so, why didn't you boo Morgan too? he as much to blame, if not more cause he's the captain, to be fair to Hendrie he didn't lose it close to our net.

I know its nothing to do with me because im not Mr Blackwell or Mr McCabe, but if you're going to boo a player who hasn't even stepped on the pitch then don't bother coming, just my opinion as i say.

Supporting for some people is listening to the radio.

For others it's attending and slagging the team off at any opportunity.

For some it's supporting the players in the Blades kit.

A bloke near us slagged the team off all the game and never clapped or stood up when Beattie scored.

I wonder why such people bother......if they don't like it why bother?

They may be "fans" but they do not understand support!

:)

Personally, I thought they were chanting "Ugo" from where I was sat.

Completely agree Mr Carpenter.

One spectacular numpty was booing as we went off for half time 1-0 up. Well done fella.

I must say though, there are times and places for dissent, and I have to say that there were times last autumn/winter where I did show that, but not during the match.

Going back to Hendrie (I'm even spelling his name correctly now!), I didn't see the incident away at Norwich, but there has certainly been a TASS-style report as to what happened afterwards.

I don't see that as a bad thing. What I do know is that bad mouthing a player as they warm up is disgraceful.

As much as I dont like the bloke I didnt boo him.

Actually he showed that he isnt a complete tosser. Before the players went in before kick off he ran across the pitch and signed a young boys cast on his broken leg.

He spent ages before the Stocksbridge match posing for pictures with someone's newly born and having a laugh and a joke with a few young kids.... He's not the evil pixie many people think :)

i agree with linz and stinky blade, because when hendrie and ugo were warming up i clapped hendrie first and then started chanting 'UUUUUUUUUUUUGOOOOOOO'

There might have been some sheep who, because they thought people were booing, decided to do so themselves.

Personally, the sooner they see someone jumping off a cliff and adopt the same approach, the better ;)

I just don't think it's right to boo any Blade. Leave that to the pigs.

At yesterdays match he also ran over to the family stand and gave something to a supporter

I think Hendrie is a decent player who just has not had the right opportunity to shine

I also thought they were chanting ugo

I personally think Hendrie deserves another chance, I know he get a game at Norwich but I think a prolonged run in the team might do him the world of good. Sometimes he can come across as arogant, I'll give you that, but for all his troubles he his one player that is passionate for the cause.

Doesn't really have the same ring to it, does it?

Well if we're getting all high and mighty about criminal convictions, I would expect the same treatment across the board :)

Find me a good chant and I will see what we can get started on the Kop ;)
