Great to hear from you Hando. It has gotta be a couple of years at least since I saw you, and wondered how you was doing pal, as I’d heard you was having a rough time. Glad to hear you are doing well

Not so sure bout this I've been having it rough thing but I had a long nasty divorce that lasted over 4 years and I lost almost everything . Luckily after a while living on my own deliberately and to get my head together I met by chance the most beautiful woman I've ever seen on Sheffield train station. Shes a top level nurse from derby . We met on a Friday on the station by chance thru talking then swapped numbers . It was her first ever visit to Sheffield and was for work reasons . She came back the Sunday and for a year we were spending weekends at eachothers house. I got to know the kids we fell in love and I jacked my lot in to move to derby. I now live a very quiet life the kids are my world my partner I would do anything for and I'm happier than ever. We come up for home games but I rarely do aways anymore as the kids come first to me. I'm 50 soon and get married next year . she's on my avatar pic her name is tia. 3 year ago my life hit rock bottom but right now I feel the luckiest bloke alive and I'm loving life here in derby

This is a timely thread and though I rarely contribute, I feel that I should. I met my wife when she was 16 and a We*****ite. Shortly after that I showed her the error of her ways and she became a convert. Even though I am now living thousands of miles away, I still look for the results (thanks interweb) and keep in touch with United's fortunes. We used to stand on the Kop, John St corner as she was vertically challenged and that was one place that she could see from.

My wife passed away last Friday after a 10 year on and off battle with cancer so hopefully the Blades will kick the Mackem's asses for her.
