The View of a Man U supporting Uncle from Derry

I had some relatives come to visit me from Derry over the past week.

Anyhow as he was here I thought I would take him to a match. (today)

We had a tour round the ground beforehand as well.

These were his views on us as a knowledgeable. (been involved in football back in Derry many years) outsider.

1 - loved the ground & facilities
2 - Thought that we (as fans) had been beaten with the shitty stick over the last few years
3 - Ground, Infastructure, Fanbase all premiership class. Just lack the 'main ingrediant' the team to get us there.
4 - after having been to a piggy game a couple of years ago with my brother, he thinks we are the proper sheffield.
5 - Thought we should have won today. A lack of a goalscorer has killed us.
6 - predicted within the first 15 minutes that if we didnt make our early pressure pay then we would be hit with a sucker punch.

We should have been 2-0 up after 15 minutes but you don't panic because you assume there will be other chances, but it passed my mind that we'd regret those missed chances. I would rather refer it to a rusting blue trawler like you see in Scarboro harbour, but I do like the swimming pool jibe.
