It states as facts that the players having been given today off and that the season starts from the Leeds match.
My guess therefore is that Wilder and Knill are having a strategy meeting today to discuss how to take the team forward for the remaining games of the season having now had a look at the new midfielders and Wilson.

The fact that Leeds have just sacked their boss is not usually helpful as players tend to react to a sacking but if Wilder can keep them playing at the level they have since Derby away (Wolves apart) I can't see why we can't regroup and have a go. Whether we get in the playoffs, 2nd Spot (V. Unlikely) or finish below the play offs I still think it will have been a great season back in the Championship.

Day off on same day as Billy's birthday..hmmmmmm, coincidence?

Perhaps they can work out how to prevent sides scoring ‘worldies’ against us.

Or how to punish teams from all the corners we get.

Or maybe even working out which one of our players can have a shot from outside the area.

Also can work on the movement down the right hand side that has become so predictable it isn’t getting us anywhere.

If they can work all the above out and increase supply to our strikers - we’ll smash it.

Judging by the astonishing number of managers Leeds have gone through, that's some reacting! Only one Leeds manager in their history has averaged over 2 points per game, and that was Neil Redfearn (2.5 ppg) in his third spell as manager, and that lasted less than a month. Link

Both Leeds and Wednesday need to realise that a) They're not as good as they think they are, and b) Not to expect a queue of half-decent managers lining up for the job. Both clubs are fucking basket cases and, at Wednesday, any manager with a bit of pride would tell them to stick the job if Doyen are pulling all the strings. (Early days at Swansea, but Carvalhal seems to have found some form now the shackles are off.) :)

Just hope they haven't approached us for Knill in exchange for a friendly at the Lane

If we can just cross the ball at the first opportunity then I will be more than happy with that. Other than the Wolves match, we are still playing well.

There was a moment during the Wolves game that had me fuming.

Bash was in a perfectly decent position to put the ball in, we had 4/5 player in the box. Instead, he played it 3 yards in front of himself to Baldock, who, not only was in a poorer position to cross the ball, but was also offside.

It was ineptitude at it's greatest and perfectly sums up our play at the moment.

It’s like we are trying to play to much football and create the perfect goal.

Leon never gunna score another goal.in the positions he' playing now.think baldock basham had more chances

At the moment our play reminds me of the top 100 tennis player who is on the point of beating Federer and then suddenly realises what he is achieving and starts to worry about making mistakes and starts playing differently.
Many of our players are passing on the responsibility to someone else, hence we over-play on both wings.

This only reinforces the fact that Basham should never play in midfield or venture past the half way line.

Looking at another Biggs tif on Facebook I think we’re looking for a headline tomorrow which likens wilder and United with Heckingbottom and Barnsley.

United to lose wilder would be my bet
