Strangely optimistic this week (I am sure it won't last :) ) about the result on Satdi.
Last week's result was our first away win of the season and although we didn't pummel the oppo I think it will have instilled some much needed confidence in the squad.

With Doyle and Flynn returning this weekend I believe we will have a stronger midfield presence and some much needed creativity out wide with Flynn delivering some supply or sneaking onto the score sheet himself.

Blades for a 2 -0 win if we can keep Zoko and Judge quiet.

Flynn and Porter with their balls in the onion bag

Well this has to be our toughest test of the season so far.

With Doyle and Flynn back, and perhaps a chance to field our strongest team, surely we can win?

2-1 for me.

3-1 Blades.
With Doyle & Flynn back the squads looking strong now.

Think we'll win on satdi, drop macallister, bring in doyle that should free up macker and gallagher to do some damage have blackman & kitson up top, defence looks more secure than before now we seem to have tightened up at set pieces 2-1 or 3-1 win for me top 2 here we come??????

We've not fared too well in top of the table clashes recently. I fear this may continue on sat.

1-1 for me, I think we need to keep it tight but I reckon they will too, much like Donny did.

If they come and try to win, then we'll beat them

2-1 Blades, late goal to secure the points.

When was the last time we scored a last minute winner (89+)? It seemed to happen quite often under Warnock, but can't remember one for a while.

Can't recall any last season and the season before that we only won like 2 games. Henderson at Bristol City springs to mind 3 years back (immediately after they had pulled it back to 2-2), but there must be one more recent then that?

Thats a good question and one that I keep saying to my wendy mates its what got them promoted - last minute winners and equalisers.

You're right under Warnock in "that" season you just knew we'd score if we needed a goal in the last 10 minutes. If only we had Chief ... :D

Once last season (Evans in the 97th minute against Rotherham in the JP Trophy) and once the season before (Bogdanovic with an 87th minute penalty against Palace). Slew scored an 86th minute winner against Bristol City in 10/11 too but that's too early for your test :)

Not looking forward to this one. Notts County are a very good side. Had Flynn and Doyle not been in contention then i'd be swaying towards our first defeat of the season. However, they are, so i'm going to go for a score draw, not a bore draw.

Blades 2-2 County

I always said that under Warnock we were a second half team, we would often come out after half time reinvigorated and often turned games around (says something for his half time motivational cup throwing). Since he has left we may have good games, but I don't see that 2nd half lift any more.
