Boy am I glad I waited until nearly midnight (no MoTD, so let's have a shite film to fill the time). We were the 'featured match' you see. And we got almost identical time to all the rest of the dross in Divs. 3 & 4.

How I long for the halcyon days when we were in the PL. (Hang on. 2 minutes coverage at the arse-end of the show with that purveyor of crap, Garth Crooks treating us to 'Sheffield United? NGH.' Oh the mirth!

Just shows how far we have to go. If we had an Italian maniac like diCanio as manager, we'd get more coverage. Or if we were truly MASSEEEEEVE, we'd be live on Sky twice in 6 days.

We can only dream...

To be honest i thought the millers game was the featured one but I know what you mean The BBC moans its priced out of sports and yet it takes the piss by showing a reduced FL program when there's no PL coverage rather than expanding the FL coverage .

It was a reduced Football League show because the Football League was reduced to two divisions - there were no Championship matches yesterday either. Leagues One and Two tend not to get as much coverage as the Championship, so in terms of season-long coverage it was about the same as usual. Still, it wouldn't have hurt the Beeb to give each match a minute or two more.

Or even repeating the goals would be nice. At least I can do that on the iPlayer.

At least I didn't have to fast forward it this morning. That's one plus I suppose.

It was nice to see Shoreham street in the BBC highlights for once (for whatever reason) and even better to see us smash a team 4 nil. I've watched the highlights 3 times this morning :)

Very enjoyable. Tonne showing technique like the last brilliant Norwegian to grace a red and white shirt (Jan Aage), Doyle holding off a midfielder and sending a through ball that would have been worthy of Patrick Viera, Collins marauding forward from the back like Lothar Matthaus or even Franz Beckenbauer, the 'Ginger Messi' ubiqitous and Lowton bombing forward like Cafu.

It's just like watching Brazil (Brazil) It's just like .........

It was nice watching the goals again. Was there any post match/league analysis last night? I didn't see any that's all. Poor effort if that's the case. Must be because Wednesday weren't playing...

No Claridge was absent so we are featured when there is no post match analysis and for the third week running the extended coverage is a league 2 game. No doubt that will our lot for 6 months.
And will flippin MK Dons lose please!

The bbc did a deal because our ground has the best facilities the guy doing the show can enjoy himself all day in exchange for an extra 30 seconds and manager interviews.

Paul Walkers done it for a few seasons now, haven't noticed Seth before this season.

Re the football league show.
I reckon the title music sums up everything about this programme. A big bag of insipid wank!
