As we all know Davie Weir graduated under David Moyes, a gaffer who is renowned throughout the country by professionals within the sport as technically and tactically one of the best managers in the modern game, which ultimately is why Ferguson liked him so much and referred him to the Man United hot seat.
Moyes guided Everton into Europe with his shrewd signings on limited resources. His everton side were always guaranteed to be in or around the european spaces and they often gave the big guns a run for their money.
So where is Davey Bhoy going wrong? He picked up his trade from supposedly one of the best. Different leagues allbeit the fact remains the same that Weir came into a club with limited resources however this has since changed but never the less similar rules apply.
