... to Baldock's goal.

Quite rightly everyone has been purring over the strike itself, but the build up was absolutely top drawer as well. Precise, controlled passing around the back and midfield, before Berge's smart one two with MGW to get us pelting forward.

Worldy finish aside, it was just a fabulous team goal and reminded me of us at our very best under Wilder.

Not acceptable, need to lump it to Mcburnie and Gibbs white needs to be smashing knock downs in, not playing so many passes for a wing back to score. Not even sure Baldock should be in the box

Hecky Out

Wow. 9 different players touching it too. Only Sharp and Norwood that didn't

The final angle is wonderful on that, with the slow mo of George running into the dug out. Amazing reactions from MGW, Norwood, and Egan, and the faces in the crowd....

These are the moments in football that we all live to see.

I will be the first to admit that when the ball was played across the pitch from Robinson to Basham via Egan and Foderingham, I was beginning to feel nervous that it was all about to go wrong…
I am all in favour of this tactic, but I don’t think I will ever feel relaxed until the ball gets to the halfway line. I wonder if Man City fans feel the same way?

Yeah, loved those reactions. Kind of reminded me of this:

With you all the way on that Hodgy .

My arse was twitching like a rabbit’s nose in the first part of that build up , especially when Jackie R did the reverse flick .

The one thing (apart from hitting the target!) that was different in that move over what we’ve been doing for most of the last 2 years was RND putting it over with his first touch. We’ve spent 2 years turning back in then out again and finally hitting a low cross straight to the near post defender.

That slow build-up, then a sudden change of pace, was classic Barcelona at their peak.

RND is becoming a finished product now - and seeing George run straight towards me after he scored was even more scary than when he’s furious!

No, no they don’t. UTB
