Adkins was on the cusp of the play offs in december. Barnsley were bottom of the league and you would have given Adkins one more month. I don't believe you would have given him that at all.

Barnsley get through managers just as much as we do, hasn't done them too much harm really.

Adkins needs to be sacked. He's overseen the worst season I've seen as a Blade. The line up today, particularly to start with Hammond and Woolford was an insult to the fans and makes a total mockery of his "pathway for the young players to the first team" mantra. The man spouts bullshit constantly and does not at all understand what us fans have been through and are going through. He does not understand the commitment expected of Sheffield United players at all.

well if you look at barnsleys points they were 1 win from safety at 19th so the chance was there

the thing with Adkins is hes had chance after chance offer it self up to make the play offs and hes failed miserably
to finish in 11th with our resourses , even without Murphy is nothing short of disgraceful
