And of the points dropped:

Scunny, with only ten men and coming from a goal down. Great resilience.

Fleetwood, snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat. Never say die attitude.

Bradford never gave up and scored three away against a form team. Never say die attitude.

Charlton murdered then only to concede a fortunate equaliser. Outclassed the supposed favourites on their own patch.

Plenty of reasons for optimism in all the games we dropped points.

well no team wins every game , the biggest fact in football
a point away is always a good point
Id take the same results now from the next 10 6 wins and 4 draws

It seems you aren't a proper fan if you say anything negative at the moment but I don't think we have completely overcome the pressure off playing at home just yet.
Don't get me wrong we are on fire, and I'm loving this season but let's be fair until we get the first goal at the Lane the tension is almost as telling as ever.
On the flip side once we get one I always fancy us to get 2,3 or 4 now which is great feeling.

Agree about the home performances. When it gets to half time and we haven't scored I get all twitchy, it's fortunate that I'm not a professional footballer, 'cos our Manager and his players just know we'll win so where's the fuss.

Their second goal was a bad one to concede judging by the Sky replay, looked a right mess, there you go you see 4-1 up with five minutes left and I still get "twitchy"

Away teams have a responsibility to their fans to be postive and at least attack us. So as daft as it sounds our players might enjoy playing away more due to having more freedom to express themselves.

But teams that come to Bramalll Lane can set themselves up untra defensive hoping to grab a goal on rare break away. The Northampton game was the perfect tactics for an average league 1 team coming to BL.

But playing those tactics mean that I team will tire in the 2nd half and unable to close down our great midfield. So at BL I can see alot of 0-0 at half times but eventually our wave after wave of attacks in the 2nd half should mean we'll win.

Also think playing against a packed defence at home our key players are those capable of committing and beating a man. For example we have Duffy and Lavery.

I introduced the word 'underpin' to my Italian boss the other week when I was proof reading his work. He was unsure to start, but once he checked it out on Google he loved it.

Underpin, a great word

What is noticeable is that It's a good job our attacking intent is shown and delivered because we've only kept one clean sheet in all those fixtures.

In our matches we attack from the defence and defend from the front so it's very acceptable and makes for an entertaining game of footy, roll on Wallsall.

To be fair I think the lack of clean sheets comes with the territory of being positive and playing to win (Wilder) instead of playing not to lose (Clough).

Watching Liverpool v Plymouth. It shows how hard it can be to break teams down if they come for a draw.

I fully expect Liverpool to score in the second half, as Plymouth tire. Which is pretty much what's happening with us at the Lane.

We have scored 28 goals in those 11 games, more than we scored away from home all last season
