Team vs Blackburn?

Can we just ask Brewester to essentially stand up front onside and give him every ball? I feel like once he's off the mark he will fly.
One the most consistent images so far of the season one of our many marauding midfielders and defenders smashing the ball high, wide or at the keeper from the edge of the box....Brewster stood in space waving his arms in exasperation.

I thought N‘Diaye looked tired on Wednesday, I would subsequently bench him and start with Mcburnie up front, who I thought played well when he came on. Give him 45 minutes and change him for Brewster at half time.

Have Blackburn still got the South American lad up front?

Team for me:

................Foderingham
.........Anel......Egan......RND
Baldock.............................Lowe
...........Norwood......Doyle
......Berge.......................Khadra
...................Ndiaye

Unless sharp is fit the team gojng forward has to have that front 3 for me. Worked so well towards the end of last season with MGW. Play without a recognised 'striker'... Ndiaye is much more of a goal threat than either McBurnie or brewster and berges goal stats in that role are really good.

Jebbo, who people forget is only 18 and will be a future superstar imo, off the bench to get valuable experience and add pace and height when Ndiaye tires.

Brewster and McBurnie as subs if we have injuries.

Id also drop Lowe and play RND wing back if we have another centre half fit, Lowe did well last game but he wasn't tested defensively with them being down to 10 men. He looks really poor when put under pressure IMO
Similar thinking.

As good as Gibbs-White was, there wasn't the same balanced because neither he nor Berge nor N'Diaye are naturally right footed.

Whilst Khadra will have a job on matching Gibbs-White's individual stats, he gives good balance to the team with him being left footed.

It's also a drum I'm prepared to bang on N'Diaye. Get him at centre forward. He scored something like 3 in 5 at the end of the regular league season.

Brewster had a bit of a purple patch but for long periods looked lost. He doesn't look at that same level before injury.

I can see the temptation to get value out of a 20m spend and a 23.5m spend but the team has to come first and while N'Diaye is fit and the others are making their way back, he'd be my main main. The sky is the limit with him. I can't say the same for the others even if they recapture their best form in a Blades shirt.

I think McBurnie and Khadra may both start. Personally would play Brewster but I think we'll try and rotate given he put in another decent shift yesterday. Can't see Mcatee starting again at the weekend but you never know. Think he'll opt for the familiarity that Fleck brings over Doyle but we need to blood him soon.

That has the potential to switch to a 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 with Berge more advanced at times.
Anyone want the Lotto numbers?

I know it won't be Doyle but I have no idea who to put in CM with Norwood. Yesterday showed what we all know, Berge is million times more effective further forward.

McAtee and N'Diaye did ok but a rest is good with the squad we have and quick games coming up. Brewster was average but feel he needs a run of games at least.

Meant to say at the time that that line up was a decent shout. You weren't far off.

As it happens, I like today's line up too, and that bench is so strong. 👍🏻
