Team v Blackburn....

We all saw CW wasn't pleased with aspects of Saturdays performance, particularly first half.....so, wholesale changes for Blackburn with the hope that some players take their chance or make them go again?

Can't see what the second option would achieve but he has done it in the past....for me get those pushing for a league start in and let them give him something to think about for Saturday.....my starting 11;

Well...wholesale changes I fully expect, regardless of the performance and result on saturday. Reason why: He's got a lot of players that he's signed and needs to see in a competitive game in order to inform his choice of whether they are ready to make the first team squad.

For this reason I'm going to the game. Because I'm also curious to know whether the likes of Mousset, Morrison, Besic, Osborn, are going to be making a significant contribution to the first team soon. Hopefully we'll see something from them in this game that suggests they will.

I wonder if we'll see Michael Verrips? There's one I'm looking forward to seeing, because next season, if we remain in the Prem, he will probably be our first choice keeper.

We should get a pretty good indication for Saturday's team based on the minutes played. If Mcburnie plays full game then I doubt he starts against Chelsea. Would like to see him play 45-60 mins and Sharp full 90.

Basham (throw him back in so he can immediately build up his confidence again in a position where he'll be touching the ball more. Plus has the natural stamina to still be fit for Chelsea game)
