Tony Cascariino on Talk Sport was waxing lyrical about the Blades & CW , he was saying what we already know about the quality attacking football we play , go out there without fear to attack every team with two players up top in an era where 4-5-1 is the en vogue .

The lass who co-hosts the show kept playing snippets of love songs which was funny after all his compliments ... not that it changes owt or means owt for that matter but in the past we’ve always had our detractors when we were doing well in the Bassett & Warnock times most of it unwarranted ,, but is nice for once have more than a few recognising the great football we are playing and what’s going on at the club now .

After 6 years in solitary it’s good to be back , Mr Wilder & co .. thanks for putting the Price back in our club ....UTB

SAid on another thread that we are suddenly media darlings.

Sky, bbc, etc all writing features on us and radio debating us. The positive comments from so called pundits and experts is just non stop currently. And compared to past successes it’s a total change to what happened then.

Michael O'Neill the Northern Ireland manager was singing Chris Wilder's praises on Football Focus this lunchtime.

In a very complimentary way he said we were like a club in the 1970's where everyone knows everyone and everybody is pulling in the same direction.

Wilder as a person is winning lots of fans. See some of the comments on other clubs forums. Loads of respect and love for the guy.

If they could only know how bad it was pre - Wilder.

Does. Not. Compute.
Does. Not. Compute.

Having to seriously re-format my hard-drive at the moment to process all this positive data.
Literally, there’s a new operating system in town and the world is going mental about it.
It’s name is Wilder. Mr Chris Wilder. And it comes with several cracking peripherals - one of them called a Knill which supports and enables constant upgrades in service.
They’re amazing.

Actually they like us because we play proper football the right way. We were much admired under John Harris as well.

It was all too easy to dislike us when we hoofed it, and quite justified. It’s a grotesque form of anti-football and nobody outside S2 mourns it’s demise.

We are finally living it down, thank Pele, thank Tufty.

We know how he feels

Tonight [10 mins ago] they were discussing why Everton should go for Wilder instead of Ancholoti.

Good init.

Agree with most of that, except the comment 'nobody outside S2 mourns its demise.' (Apostrophe corrected for free). Our worst spell during the Leeds match coincided with us not playing our usual passing game, and while many on here have indicated disappointment with this passage of play, I have not noticed a single comment to celebrate the use of the long ball; the consensus is that it was good to see us return to crisp passing on the ground with the introduction of Brooks.
