Yeah I meant recent as in last week or so, intentionally shot to show how much he loves the club to reduce the rumours of him leaving. But it's not. I've not been in contact with my source for a few weeks so I'm assuming nothing has changed and he is still leaving
Gerrin touch with HP to see what crack is with Widler.

After Wembley I didn't know whether to put my self through the torment any more. 58 yrs & been to every heartbreaking game, this one broke me. Just started pulling myself back round BUT of all of our players we may sell, if Peck goes I'm back to zero again. They can f##k off.

What you have just posted is why you keep going, it takes a special kind of person to support the Blades, you are blessed

He and Vini have played, owing to Souza's injuries and Arblaster playing the first 12, about 15 games together. So yeah, for the most part - he's held a midfield together as the only consistent player for somewhere between 15-20 games or thereabouts. For a team at the sharp end of the table that's some going and PL clubs will recognise his ability to play under pressure in a winning team.

Completely disagree on this, especially in regards to Archie Gray. Really good player no doubt but very rarely did he stand out in that Leeds team and took a long time to establish himself. Going to be an excellent player but to suggest he was miles ahead of where Peck is nonsense, sorry.

Playing at Bristol in the comfort of finishing mid-table is the same as at the top end of the league? You sure? Also played with the freedom of having little defensive responsibility. Again, going to be a class player but not a million miles ahead of where Peck is.

Anyway, little point addressing this further I suspect. Clear we have very different viewpoints and outlook. I wouldn't take a penny less than £15m.
The difference between them having been told by coaches connected with Gray is that Gray can do exactly what position a manager asks him to do he has been schooled that well. Peck is not as adept don’t get me wrong I think peck will be a decent premier league player. The younger gray brother is different gravy he is a nightmare to coach but you send him on a pitch to win a game, he will not be a decent premier league player he will be most likely world class and let’s hope he chooses England rather than Scotland

I'm in the same place as you mate
But I genuinely dont think any players will go

Whilst a little bit limited technically, Peck will have a really good career.

We saw with MGW, Ndiaye & McAtee, players that leave it all out on the pitch and clearly have some character, go far.
He's already shown he belongs (at least) at the upper end of the Championship.

2/3 more seasons, surrounded by better players and he'll probably kick on to be a solid PL player. Not an England one, probably not a European level one, but steady enough.
Arblaster can go further. He has attributes that are very elite (but could do with some of Peck's desire).

The only thing Mcatee left on the pitch those last few games was a sour taste. Properly downed tools. Technically very good but clearly no stomach for a fight. Agree with the rest of your post though.

I hesitated to include him but after a pretty tough start to his first loan spell, I thought he showed a lot of heart to come through it and contribute the way he did.

I kind of ignore that season in the PL. Almost impossible for anybody to come out with any credit, particularly attacking players.
We were getting hammered every week.

For context on all the above, I think Peck's ceiling is a lot higher than Tommy Doyle's.
I think TD will continue to find that next step difficult.

I can’t judge him too harshly on that. Most of his teammates had checked out too. Must have been a horrible environment.
