Singing you’re shit ah to Long was embarrassing. He had his career ruined at the lane by idiots on the kop. It seemed to inspire him and he was by far the better goalie on the pitch.
Happens to most keepers. Especially away from home. What’s wrong with giving an opposition player shit…….or should we just shit in our own players a bit more ?

I was there too, not a peep first half, granted we were playing dreadfully. Not much better 2nd half, put it this way it certainly wasn't one of our good away supporting days, serious negativity at the minute and I don't get it at all.
You got a different impression of it to me. It wasn’t amazing by any standard, but it was decent, especially given the first half no show.

I thought we were quiet in first half, maybe an early kick off was a factor. Normally we are pretty boisterous at Millwall. But it picked up in the second half. Quiet spells from both sets of fans. Millwall were loud from both their side stands when they scored and clinched the win. Quickest to and return journeys I've experienced at Millwall. No holding back after the game walked straight onto a train same on the journey there. Previous league game at London Bridge, held back at station B4 allowed onto the platform and held back for 30 mins after the game. Much, much better this time. Although having to walk through a line of police outside the station on the way back seemed unnecessary.

He and Hussey ruined their own careers with that first 15 mins vs Southend in 2016.

Did you give the first third division seasons a miss then?
no but the kop was always loud even with crowds of 12k apart from g&h in tc and f&g on kop theres nothing vocal supporting the team thesedays our fans are so quiet now know we havent played well of late but thats when the team needs backing vocally

On the 'View from Millwall' one of their fans commented that our fanbase has changed. Maybe the 'rougher element' has drifted away from football, been priced out or died off. You cannot just wake up on a Saturday and go to the match. Once all ticket games were few and far between. A lot of the spontaneity has gone. Football has changed. Although it needed to.

just get behind the team from the kick off saturday im sure the players will respond too much anxiety and doom and gloom just now from our fans were still in prime position for automatics if we had been given this scenario in august 4 points clear of 3rd with a match in hand our fans would have been ecstatic
