SUFC stadium, anyone got pics?

stadiumzone.net

has got some, but I'm looking for better pics

Stadium = A large, usually open structure for sports events with tiered seating for spectators

Now forgive me if I am wrong, but we have tiered seating yes?
Football is a sport yes?

You will not find a dictionary in the land that states if it is only one sport currently being played there it is not a stadium.

Also cricket has previously been played there too.

really?....when was cricket played there...see a stadium as you said holds sprting eventS...and to mmy knowledge...we only hold 1 event...not events...but since you say cricket has been played there...i guess we can call it a stadium....but when did they play it?

Surely any Blade over the age of, say 12, would know that cricket was played at the Lane? The last match played at the Lane was years ago, way back on Sunday "2nd October 2005 if my memory serves me correctly. Which it does.

2nd October 2005??

Bramall Lane is the oldest major ground anywhere in the world, having hosted its first game in 1862, a match between Hallam F.C. and Sheffield Club. It was originally a cricket ground and the first important match played here was between Yorkshire and Sussex in 1855. A cricket club was formed in 1854 named Sheffield United Cricket Club and Bramall Lane was leased to the club by the Duke of Norfolk. The ground was opened with a cricket match on 30 April, 1855. Yorkshire County Cricket Club also formed here, and played most of their games in Sheffield at Bramall Lane until the last match on 7 August, 1973 against their old rivals, Lancashire.
