We work the ball to death to try and create golden chances. It's how we play. To expect us to suddenly start flinging early balls into the box would be expecting us to completely revamp our style

We could have Messi and Ronaldo in the box but they won't score when we put the brakes on and run out of ideas when we should be doing more. Bizzare, we are unique in our attacking play but gormless when we actually have a chance to turn it into goals.

Love our style, don’t want them necessarily to come in earlier or be flung in, just want them to be dangerous, find a red shirt, be pulled back to the edge of the box for a shot, whipped across the 6 yard line between the gk and the defenders, chipped over everyone’s head for a diving header or knock down at the back post.

Point is we invest huge amounts building up and look like a great team but real chances are too few in proportion.

Both I suppose, today it was our delivery that was poor throughout, we hardly missed any big chances.

Past few games McGoldrick has missed several big chances, bringing in higher quality players won't be easy.
