Call me stupid if you want, I am still getting a season ticket in a few weeks.
However this appointment must have put hundreds / thousands off doing the same ?

The board knows it makes very little difference. Very few fans buy after the deadline in any event. It's one of the bizarre ways of United these days that they have nearly 4 months from the deadline to before the season starts when they don't sell any STs and they accept it as thus.

So the positive is that Wilson is very unlikely to hit ST sales.

Still doesnt mean people have to turn up and watch-season ticket or not.

on the other hand, RDM might have put a few thousand if not more back on the gate.
