The stewards were great today but had to implement the most stupid rule; for no fans to be on the right hand side of the away end even if their tickets was for that side. Why make fans irate for no reason? It wasn't as if there were any Millwall fans nearby.

One bloke actually left rather than sitting on the side of the steps that he was told to.

The stewards were obviously under a directive that it was unreserved seating but only in the three blocks to the left, why did folk bother arguing and not just fucking move?

I agree with that, I moved straight away. It just seemed strange why it was necessary.

I'd guess (though I don't know) that they'll probably have to pay more stewards to work for each extra block that contains fans.

I couldn't believe the bloke who actually left the stadium because he couldn't sit in the seat on his ticket. I'm all for principles, but he travelled all the way to London to miss over half the game!

The worst one is where they have to stand in front of the pitch 5 minutes before the end of certain games ensuring nobody can see anything and also ensuring everybody gets annoyed
Nowt like calming situations down is there

Didn't one of their fans slap one of our players when he tried to retrieve the ball for a throw-in whilst the stewards sat there doing nothing to prevent it happen and failed to punish the perpetrator? Disgusting really, but apart from that a surprisingly mild occasion for my first visit there.

And yes I wasn't allowed to sit where I wanted but just dealt with it by moving :P might consider asking for a refund under the 'Trade description act' XD

You can only respect the bloke that travelled to millwall only to leave because he couldn't sit in his allocated seat!

They didn't even keep us in at the end, the gates were open and we were able to walk straight back to our car.

Even Millwall don't see us as a big club anymore it would appear.. :(

gates were open to train station as well, walked up to station, got on train with wall, no problems,no trouble.
that's how it should have happened last year..:)

Was surprise we didn't get held back after the game. No probs with stewarding and policing today
