It's true we haven't really got anyone worthy of a statue yet and as somebody else mentioned the DD one is an enigma. Yes we have club legends but to become a Blades legend you don't have to have won anything because we haven't and lets face it champions of the third tier is nothing to shout about for a club like United.
My mind has wandered to who is closest to getting a statue...imagine Basham scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup final next year...
