Tony Mowbray described Phillips as "phenomenal" and commented that as well as being 6 feet 4 inches tall Phillips had great ball-playing ability. Mowbray stated, "He's fast, mobile and can pass it really well. He can use both feet, he's composed...if you were to create a defender in the mould of how you would want one, this kid has got every attribute."

Can't see Mowbray being a big analytics advocate but sounds like he's impressed.

Both going to be very good Championship players in their careers, at the minimum.

Whether either are ready for a Championship promotion challenge now, who knows.

It should be no suprise that AI picks out players who are good and known, not just players who might be good who are unknown

Is he?! I didn't know that.

I watched Sean Devine smashing goals in for Wycombe (where I also watched Tony Currie's nephew being a great entertainer). And yes, was mostly aware of Devine because of CM.
