Absolutely no idea whether it's true or not. There were a few dickheads amongst those just having a party (e.g whoever launched an empty bottle towards the direction of a riot van) but I would sincerely hope that nobody was enough of a dickhead to do something like this. Perhaps I'm being naive.

Could've approached a copper if she was indeed spat at. There were enough around.

Also where is the accusation against a Blades fan? I'm assuming it's been posted and commented on by a Pig saying "look at those scrubbers" however no one is accusing a Blade and there's no evidence of who did it.

So there I was just filming nowt in particular on London Road when this poor woman walked up to me with her glasses in her hand and said "someone's gozzed on mi glasses". So I pointed my camera at her glasses and told her to walk off. I'm gonna put it on t'Facebook.

Load of crap if you ask me. Probably got a soaking from all the ale getting lobbed around all over London Road like pretty much everyone else did but I'd highly doubt someone has walked over the other side of the road and purposely wazzed in her face.

More likely she got a bit of ale on her, someone passing by has seen her and stuck a camera in her face and asked her if she was spat on then posted it all over social media for it to go viral.

Also whilst I fail to see why anyone would want to waste so much decent ale chucking it all over the place it was rather amusing when the boy racer thought it would be funny to rev his engine when stuck in the middle of a load of Blades and got an absolute drenching.

Some of the FB comments from Pigs this morning were nothing short of pathetic. One silly woman who I usually have time for, basically accused 100s of abusing this woman and even managed to throw some rape references in for good measure.

Might have happened but very doubtful. We were outside The Crown at that point as it was before the road was shut and there was hardly anyone over the other side of the road, which is where she will have walked down as no way would she go walking down the pub side.
