With the internationals just passing us, I was looking forward to 2010 wondering if we had any players or former players who will be playing in the world cup and also if we had any of our other clubs players going there. I see Hungary are doing well in their group, do Ferencvaros have any internationals?

Australia are there so there is Carney and we own a club in aussie. Kasim-richards if Turkey go. Am sure there are more if i have a think. What if Rep of Ireland make it will Paddy be picked??????

theres a chance that he may be included for the squad as he will be free to play again, however simply due to the lack of football over the next 9 months i wouldnt be surprised to see him left behind

I will buy ten season tickets at Hillsborough and never set foot in Bramall Lane again if Paddy Kenny is playing for Ireland at next year's World Cup.

Doubt it with Jags. Regardless of whether he's a better player than the following they are all above him in the current rankings.

The fact Jags is out injured currently I think means he's going to have to be hitting the ground running (getting back in Everton's XI straightaway is by no means a forgone conclusion), getting back to playing like he was pre injury and hoping that one of Brown & Richards form dives and maybe even an injury to one of the other four. Although I'm not sure on the number of CB's managers normally take to a World Cup.

As for the ifs and maybes - no chance!
