Do you think he will be in the right place mentally to play?
He could play, but it’s got to have had an effect on him.
It will surely be in his mind when going in for tackles.
I wouldn’t play him if I was Poch. He might need counselling through this...the kid was distraught and Spurs have a duty of care.

This decision, whilst it may be the correct decision in the end, does seem to undermine VAR. On Sunday they deemed it worthy of the red card whereas now apparently it is not. Either there is some new video evidence that was not available at the weekend or despite viewing it in slow motion from every angle VAR still got it wrong.

Remember a Sheffield derby a few years ago at Hillsboro and I think it was Kilgannon that was sent off.

Many thought the red was harsh and it should have been a yellow. I’m sure at the time the rule was that it’s impossible to downgrade a red to a yellow.

I think the media reported that a red could only be rescinded when there’s been mistaken identity or a clear and obvious factual error.

Agree the red was very harsh but how can it be a clear error when VAR didn’t even over turn it.

So we know that the red has been changed to a yellow? As I said a few year back we were told the rules didn’t allow this.

VAR changed a yellow to red, nowt to do with VAR?

It was always a yellow.

Strange.
Was a refereeing decision having seen the injury, VAR was not involved.

'After the game, The Premier League explained that VAR had not intervened in Martin Atkinson's decision as Son's red card was for 'endangering the safety of a player which happened as a consequence of his initial challenge.' However, following an appeal from Spurs on Monday, the FA have now overturned the decision.16'

Although if the VAR official applied the same criteria to the decision that the panel who overturned it did, Son wouldn’t have been sent off and Spurs wouldn’t be down to ten men. So yet again, VAR is being misused. It’s exactly these game changing decisions that it was supposed to be involved in.

Has anyone red carded that John Lundstram “Tequila” song? The minute we’re nicking songs off Tranmere Rovers is the minute we need a period of self-reflection.

Thanks, I never did remember what song that was.

Was anyone else on the train to Barnsley with the lad singing along to his own Lundstram song? It was just a well known tune (that annoyingly I can't remember) with the word 'Lundstram' shouted at the end of each bit. Completely daft but quite amusing at the time.

(Back in August)

If Son or Kane get the ball in or near the box THEY WILL SHOOT , just watching spurs at moment , get stuck in Red Star !

Right I'm not saying we should definitely do this but what would people think, right, if, and I mean IF, just in the interests of gaining a bit of an advantage, the 1st time one of our lot goes into a challenge with Son, he goes down screaming blue muder clutching his leg and maybe, (just maybe alright?) bursting a hidden blood bag and pushing a fake bone through the fabric of his sock? HYPOTHETICALLY what would people think?

Just whack him in the face, it seems to send him mental.
