So West Brom, Sheffield United, Burnley and Fulham go to the Premier League...

Does my head in at work. Started with management and filtered down to the wannabes. It's usually 'Soooooooooooo...' and makes me want to punch them in the throat.

Don't get me started on 'Can I get'. FFS.
Can I add the increased used of the word "like", in the middle of sentences, to your list?

How about ‘reach out’ as in: ‘ARB can you reach out to logistics and see if...’
It’s contact, phone, email indeed anything but reach out!!!

So seems like no-one got the reference ;)

A thousand times, yes.
What about "Amazing" that's the one that gets me, listen to a conversation these days and it's " oh I had a coffee it was amazing, went for a burger it was amazing, went to cinema it was amazing" or something similar

Also annoying, I reckon that it came in around 10 years ago and again probably spawned from student dickheads who'd been on a gap year.

One quirk of language locally (I think it's a Rotherham thing but someone might tell me otherwise) is where people say "I've fetched this in today". Is anyone guilty of this?
Its normally young lads Bobble hat, beard ,shorts and fucking flip flops ,Your archetypal wanker

The saying ‘Agreed 150%’....... that really gets my goat. It’s impossible.
I was once on a flight waiting to take off with some bloke insisting on being on calls right up until take off. What made it even worse was he kept on saying the phrase "totally, hundy p". Which I then worked out meant 100%, nauseating 🤮🤮🤮.

I'm 49 ,and 100% of the above mentioned gets right on my tits .

And everything has to be prefixed with 'super'. Super-excited. Super-hungry. Super-motivated. Super-tedious.

West Brom says, "pint o' cider please, barman".

Fulham says, "I'll have your most expensive drink, I don't care what it is".

Sheffield United says, "I've got my eyes on that nice looking single-malt on the top shelf".

Aston Villa says, "I'll take that bottle of single-malt on the top shelf, mate. Here's 40 quid!"
😂😂👍🏻

...bottle half empty

aston Villa, " Just give me the bottle next to it. £80?"

Born in Rotherham and lived there for a good 20 odd years, never heard that.

Not me personally, but a lot of the family say that.

The other big one in Sheffield seems to be saying you "won someone" (meaning you beat them at something). It sounds really odd!
