Of course he is, everyone is.
BUT we have a recent history of replacing good players with not very good ones (and still calling it "good business"). Regardless of whether we had to sell, chose to sell whatever, the quality of replacement is the ONLY criteria we should be interested in.
It might take several transfers but any club that has Kyle Walker at RB but ends up with Tony McMahon there instead has made some pretty poor decisions along the way.
Can't disagree with that past analysis Grecian, but we appear to have done a 360 degree change in this department. It didn't take Clough too long to see how much of a liability McMahon was, and generally I've been very pleased with those he's brought in, Paynter and White aside. I think our manager has a good eye for a player and we need to trust in him to strengthen the squad for today and tomorrow.
