So Southgate sacked, although being a point from top, and after a home win.

Blackie has done made us finish well in the past 2 end of seasons, but if he cannot bring in the right players who have the promotion winning quality is this as far as blackie can take us?
 

They also stuck with him last year, despite being nailed on to be relegated and showing little signs of improvement.

You'd have thought that'd be the more likely time for him to be sacked, not now!
 
more importantly middlesborough have the money to sack the manager and bring another one in

A much more confusing way of saying that i'm not sure it's about "having balls".

Agree with your post, especially given that any change at this stage is likely to have us going round in circles again.
 
They probably have someone in place to take over and have waited for the right time.
