So much negativity
Living in Denmark and being surrounded by plastic manure, man city, liverpool, barcelona and real madrid fans i've never been prouder to hold my head up and call myself a Blade. I don't want to sound all bladey bladey or a happy clapper but what the fuck, it's been great and it's not over yet. We may not get automatic and we may blow the playoffs and I'll be as disappointed as anyone should that be the case, but what a ride it's been (and it's not over yet).
Think back a couple of seasons and get a grip.

Bold first post but I like your style. :D UTB

Exactly Klinge, end of 2016/17 100 pts....2017/18 pub league team etc we woud not survive and it would take 4-5 years before we did and shut those s6 bouncing gobshites up. This season before it started most people were settling for mid table but we are not, the blades have given absolutely everything this season again. and we are still challenging for auto's, if not that then playoffs.
Everyone is gutted about today but we get up and go again and again then again if need be, 4 games left and owt could happen as we being blades well know.
I will keep believing in an auto till impossible.....

Fair post but today was really really bad, making people justifiably angry. Doesn't mean I've forgotten the big picture.

the problem is we all know this is "our time". we wont get a better shot at it . Assuming we blow it as we normally do, there are several key players who will leave for big money in the summer and Tufty will be left with a rebuild job.

this is why the sort of "super frustration" is coming out---we have got so close... but ultimately....

Don't know if you were there. See my post about being there and what a fuck up this was. It really was.

First of all welcome Klinge
Secondly, fans are angry, they're not negative as such, they are extremely pissed off that we have probably ruined our chances of automatic promotion against two relegation threatened clubs because they didn't have the bottle or belief in themselves to do the job.

Some of our fans just don't seem to understand the damage that is done when a clubs players and manager drift off into that cautious, careful, boring, win 1-0 type of attitude. Especially where United are concerned

Believe me I'm certainly not pleased by the result or the way we played, lets not however let our ambitions cloud our perception of reality. We have a group of middle of the road players who for the most play out of their skins. Should we expect relegation threatened teams to just roll over? The players may well not have the ability, but I don't believe that they don't have the bottle. The table and numerous other results suggest otherwise.
