I am nice. You should the see the bullshit you have to put up with from collectors. i'd advise listing one of your shirts for a few days if you don't believe me. Nutjobs isn't the half of it.
200 quid. ouch. definitely not worth that.if it was say 15-20 years old then maybe at a push but i cant see somebody paying that for a relatively new shirt that MIGHT have been worn by an average striker.
We should go back to having Wards as the sponsor:
What do you mean MIGHT?200 quid. ouch. definitely not worth that.if it was say 15-20 years old then maybe at a push but i cant see somebody paying that for a relatively new shirt that MIGHT have been worn by an average striker.
Despite my guard dog style listing, a few people decided to mail me and take issue with it, one was barking on about the numbers on the back, smugly. When I sold my 1990 away shirt that was match worn, it went haywire. People obviously discussing it in private would message me warning me about the other person they'd deliberated over it with, making me offers claiming it wasnt worth the listing price etc... it became infuriating in the end. What's the problem?
What's the thing about the numbers mean? I said as soon as we kicked off that day "we'll lose because we're wearing next season's shirt with next season's new style premiership numbers."
So basically - a championship shirt with premiership numbers on it. Should be worth a fair bit tbh. If they hadn't worn the new shirt it wouldn't be worth as much (IMO).
iam not saying you made it up at all.but if theres no way of proving its match worn then il be surprised to see it go for 200. i think youlll be lucky to get 100.80 quid, thats just my opinion, and i wouldnt pay any more.its not old enough and its not rare.good luck though.UTBWhat do you mean MIGHT?

let me put it another way then. i believe you ! but if i was buying a shirt off the net then i would be dubious about if it really is a match worn shirt or if they just made it up to hike the price up.how can it be proved ? i have traded shirts for years now, 200 quid is too steep.halve it and it will probably sell.just my opinion.when i said rare shirt, i meant that the ones from the 80s and early 90s are rare,00s shirts are easy to find.your unique selling point is the different numbers and lettering. But by casting any doubt on it you ARE calling me a liar. Do you think I haven't got better things to do with my time than fake football shirts? How rare does 15 shirts in the world have to be, and its the only one with Stead on the back. who scored in the game?? It was well documented on here at the time that I got the shirt also.
