Cheers Bladesman, I missed today's game because I've got a pesky illness I can't shift.

Important win today, as we had to stew on that Forest game for a fortnight. Sounds like we played pretty well again! Does Clarke teleport for the goal? Seems to go from the left flank to the right and back again (for the celebration) in the blink of an eye.

Hope you get well soon Guesty

Very important win indeed, in a match where we didn't play our best at times.

Anything with our Lord deserves a like!

got to say it was great to be back at lane international break seemed longer than usual for some reason. although for once it was helpful to get a break from the mounting injury list we were getting & have some bodies back in squad. it was nice win v Ipswich loved the quality intricate build up. it was like watching Pep Guardiola but better. but i did have a criticism because the final ball was very frustrating in that 1st half. so many times where they wouldn't shoot like billy great 1st touch rounded the goalkeeper but passed backwards instead of having a shot & we need to stop trying to be perfect. I realised Ipswich were there for taking after watching the 1st 15 mins. as bar dangerous spell they had where they seemed to wake up after we scored & main part being that volley to hit the crossbar they really caused no threat at all & now Joint top of the league. amazing exceeds even wildest expectations because there is a chance with Cardiff away to Middlesbrough & wolves at home to Preston. chance we could be top this time next Saturday

I hope freeman's ok. i knew its serious one from the players urgency straight away, I have heard wilders confirmed its a dislocated knee which could be him out til Sheffield derby & feel for him as such bad luck as I think he only came back today. also anyone else in family stand on here because I could smell burning around 80th minute. because I couldn't figure out where it was coming from as there wasn't any flares or fireworks etc being set off

Ummm sorry, I didn't realise it had been posted in the match thread but then I don't look there when the game finished hours ago.

No idea where it was (as it wasn't visible), but it was the smell of a smoke bomb.

Anyone not got the app?! It's always on about an hour after the final whistle. Don't get these threads.

That's fair comment. Whilst a lot of fans seem to be getting carried away, the stats show that we had 6 shots - only 2 of which were on target - in total. We need to create more gilt-edged chances - and finish them off

i forgot yesterday. ive seen on internet about other grounds having celebrity lookalikes stewarding. i think Peter Kay at bolton, Ed Sheeran at wrexham & Boris Johnson at Rochdale. noticed at half time we've had a Romesh Ranganathan lookalike at match yesterday :D:D
