Only in S2 !
Really matured in to a highly competent all round CF. Thought he did very well today.
Might just be the best CF in L1.

That's really my point Fulwood.Billy has always been a very clever footballer.
Can he score enough goals at this level?
Today he did what mcnulty hasn't got yet ,and that's not a pop at mcnulty ,just that you can see billy is higher standard . As for che he's a game changer
That's really my point Fulwood.
Assuming he stays fit and healthy, and thus plays enough games, would it be a failure if he scored "only" a dozen or so goals but otherwise contributed significantly to the sides overall success ??
Because he is "labelled" as a scorer, suspect many will judge him solely on goals scored. Which is a shame.

The goal scoring charts in the past few years has been noticeable by the absence of any player with SUFC after his name.
Sharp may get 20 goals, I just doubt it, but his intelligent play could create for others.
Adkins says a team going up needs to score 86 goals - I question where these are going to come from.
I can see us have 2 sets of forwards - bit like Warnock had. As today Higdon and mcnuts on for 30 minutes.
Do we have a 25/30 goal striker? A team that finishes top 2 generally does.

Billy played well today, I have full confidence he'll be great for us this season.
Something else I liked was that he was always talking to Adams, instructing him where to be which is great for Che's learning.
I take it that you were not at Moss Rose on Wednesday then !Sharp is good when the ball is played to his feet but still not that good when the ball is played in front of him (he failed to be quick enough to react to James Wallace's pass to the right wing). Warnock and Blackwell preferred our midfielders to pass the ball in front of wingers or strikers
wallaces pass had far to much weight on it .billys not a greyhoundSharp is good when the ball is played to his feet but still not that good when the ball is played in front of him (he failed to be quick enough to react to James Wallace's pass to the right wing). Adams, given the opportunity, may well be that man based on pre-season.
Be great if we could stop conceding free headers from corners and free kicks when players switch off
Doesnt matter how many you score when you do that
No I wasnt. Your point being?I take it that you were not at Moss Rose on Wednesday then !

Maybe the pass was too hard but at the same time Billy has never been quick off the the blocks.wallaces pass had far to much weight on it .billys not a greyhound
That he was OK with the ball JCR played in front of him, that ended up in the net !No I wasnt. Your point being?
Saw that on the video. JCR played a diagonal ball to Sharp which is harder for the defence (especially at non league level like Maccs) to read and Sharp is good at reading diagonal balls (have watched him since he was in Academy so I know he has some good strengths) but playing a ball in front of him is more difficult for him for reasons I have explained aboveThat he was OK with the ball JCR played in front of him, that ended up in the net !
