Prices frozen...

£309 to retain my seat in the kop...absolute bargain.

That's my birthday prezzie from the mrs sorted :)

not got money yet but ill find some way to get a season ticket lol im a bit dodgey like that

.:EDIT:.
will i be able to move my seat before the end of march?

Could someone be so kind as to post a brief summary of the article as i do not have access to the main site at work.

I would hope that the reduced offer applies even if you spread the cost.

Sheffield United are offering supporters a price freeze on early season ticket renewals - keeping the cost of top-flight football at one of the lowest in the country.

United have frozen the costs charged in last year's early discount period and fans renewing their season ticket for the 2007/08 campaign can receive savings of up to £167 by guaranteeing their seat from 1st March.

The Blades have some of the lowest prices in the Premiership and this season the most expensive season ticket at Bramall Lane was ranked the second cheapest in the whole of the division.

United are also running a deferred payment scheme which enables renewed season tickets to be paid by four instalments through to July 2007.

United are retaining their concessionary rates with tickets for Junior Blade Under 10s available for £59 and Junior Blade Under 16s at £119 for all areas of Bramall Lane.

Mark Fenoughty, United's chief operating officer, said: "The club wanted to make football as affordable to fans as possible and ensure we enjoy such great crowds next season as we have in this campaign.
"We recognise the economic conditions that our supporters are currently facing and the prices have been set to encourage as many of our season ticket holders to renew early, but defer payment if they wish."

Pete Whitney, from the Sheffield United Official Supporters Club, added: "We whole heartedly support United's announcement to freeze early renewal prices for next season.
"We have seen how expensive football can be in other areas of the country, especially for families.
"We therefore appreciate what United are offering and hopefully we can continue having large crowds at home games in the Premiership. To see Bramall Lane full of Blades is a fantastic sight and the noise they make is spine-tingling."
United currently have around 22,000 season tickets holders - the highest in the club's history and demand is again expected to be high in the new campaign.
Interest in the Blades has grown following their first season in the Premiership since 1994, with the club achieving average crowds of more than 30,000 and enjoying a number of sell-out fixtures.

The current offer, which is only available for non-corporate season tickets, ends at noon on 31st March. Sales will then be suspended and further details of new pricing will be released at the end of the season.

The renewal prices are: Global Windows Stand is £429 (adult) and £239 (concession). Hallam FM Kop is £309 (adult) and £199 (concession). The Capital One Family Enclosure is £409 (adult) and £219 (concession). And the Streetwise Corner is £409 (adult) and £219 (concession).
Season ticket holders will be sent an application form in the post, alternatively they can call the Blades ticket office on 0870 787 1799.

Looks like im gonna save £20 if i renew woo hoo.

Thanks very much for that bladesman.

I too stand to save £20 by renewing early and so if you cannot do so on the deferred payment scheme i will see it as no massive loss.

I get paid on 30th March :)

Guess where that wage packet is going!

PS: Not sure but I think mine's gone up by a tenner.

Am i an adult now im 18 if so im hammered cos im skint :(

P156 on the kop again for me. £309? Dirt cheap. Think of the prices the Arse fans pay, then laugh in the faces of them all.

Bought my ST at the end of May last season, so paid £349 on the Kop - so this would be a decent saving. Was unsure whether to renew as if (please God no!) we did get relegated there are a lot more midweek KOs which I usually can't get to, but at £309 I could miss a fair number of games and still not pay over the odds for the games I went to. So looks like I'll probably renew! :)

That's great to hear from a premiership club

It would have been a great opportunity for your lot to up the prices but well done the chairman and the club

Great price to be watching premiership football

Will you be coming to watch us next season? As a Blade?! :D

I might just get it under someone elses name too!

I need to ive got no chance of getting fundage together!

Shhhh we don't want a clampdown on "incorrect" tickets now do we?

Going to get my season ticket ASAP really. Just waiting a bit of money from somewhere then im getting it:)

As it's been mentioned on here I just thought I'd let you all know (although I'm sure most of us are honest :) )...
The new ticketing system should be going ahead throughout the ground this summer which means it will be swipe-cards instead of books. Anybody thinking of saving a bit of money by buying their season ticket with someone else's name on it will be found out and you'll probably have to pay the difference as well as the possibility of a ban and/or fine...

Apparently the percentage of SUFC fans on concessions is 40%!! The Premier League average is nearer 10% so you can expect SUFC to make every effort to bring that percentage down.
