Just a suggestion to persuade the waverers, and build up support now that we are on a roll

Announce that the season ticket cost will not increase for those buying this coming season for two years, regardless of which league we are in.

This would be a great gesture by the club and, IMO it would increase the number of season tickets sold.

Yes it would be a great gesture, but it's very easy as a fan to say 'let's just cut season ticket prices' (factoring in inflation) just as easy as it is to say 'well, why don't we just increase our bid by £200k' or 'give him the extra £1k a week, if he wants it' etc etc.

I'd like to think the club runs itself well financially, knows its budget and considers all its factors. If freezing prices means we miss out on that vital signing, for example, then a price freeze might not seem so good. For me, it's the matchday tickets where our club needs to make more effort in an attempt to raise attendances. Quid-a-kid and cheap low-category tickets as it's the part-time fans which make up the numbers. Us season ticket holders will be there come hell or high water, not sure how much a £10 saving would encourage more season tickets being sold though. I'd like to think any increase in cost goes on playing staff, I just guess we'll have to wait until August and see if this is the case! Our prices are still reasonable at the moment though.

Some people just aren't going to buy season tickets unless we are in the premier league. Look at the pigs.

We have also practically had a price freeze for 3/4 years now. I am no marketing expert, however I can't see how having a price freeze for next season should impact us now, especially considering the new pricing incentives already introduced.

Personally, the only thing they could have done better in my eyes, was interest free monthly payments.

..and this kids is how football clubs get away with taking the piss year in year out.

I thought they were already in the Premier League and averaging 40000 every game.
40000? Perhaps for a reserve team friendly in Outer Mongolia on a wet Tuesday in January. we all know that they easily get 500,000 each home game
