For information from the Terms and conditions on the OS:

12. Season tickets are non refundable. The club will only consider refund requests under exceptional circumstances. These are not guaranteed and are at the Club's discretion.

I believe these are exceptional circumstances.

I've never really looked myself, but I'm assuming no where in the marketing material or terms and conditions it mentions a specific manager?

Waste your time by making a claim in the County Court if you wish.

Your chances, in round figures, are zero. You have no legal basis for a refund whatsoever.

Here's a friendly wager. You succeed, I'll double your refund. You lose, pay me £20.

If there are enough mugs I'll have a free season ticket next year.

Roll up....

Thanks for the advice!

With nearly any other purchase you'd make it wouldn't go that far. The goods are unused and you still have the receipt, as a customer you'd just be given your money back, especially as keeping the customer happy is normally the number one priority.

The scenario you postulate is just the same. No legal right to a refund. You have entered into a contract. Both sides are legally bound: No breach; No damages. Any refund would be entirely ex gratia.

See point 12. Exceptional circumstances

To be fair anyone spending more than 50p to watch that pile of tripe next season deserves all they get. You would have thought the last few seasons were a clue as to how this joke of a club was heading.
Do what i do. Support yourself and keep your money in ya wallet.

If they rea.ly wanted to take the piss they could refuse to return the money but offer a replica shirt with Wilson on the back as compensation

i bet the fans will ask for a refund if Danny Wilson gets the job.

well actually a read a post somewhere else. I think someone said once that half the people who obought a season ticket bought it on DD. Now if you haven't signed your finance agreement to that DD and sent it out. I understand they have just sent this out then don't sign it and don't pay

People like me who payed upfront are fucked, however I would go if David Hirst is in charge or I am doing duties round the house. Well go to the pub anyway ;)

>Can I have a refund everytime Montgomery plays?
can i jump in on that one as well??

So we take to the streets against a manager who has yet to start a game but defend inept players at all costs?

You just seem to have an interest in your own posts so I will let you in on something... I don't want Monty as much as you, especially as a 3rd tier team. I just don't mention it every fucking minute so while you rant about Monty allow the rest of us to get this Wilson decision out of our systems.
