What are people's thoughts on awards and memories of this season?

1. Player of the season.
2. Best permanent signing of the season
3. Most disappointing player
4. Best Youngster
5. Most Improved player
6. Goal of the season
7. Most significant moment of the season
8. Best 'moment' of the season
9. Best away ground visited.
10. Best beard.

For me I'd go for:
1. For the 2nd half of the season alone, Jamie Murphy. Though Flynn and Harry run him close. Harry in particular possibly been more consistent but Murphy has played to a higher level during this second half of the season.
2. Scoogs. And he will only get better.
3. Have been disappointed with Miller on his return but that is possibly a little harsh, however, I expected far more from Brandy before he got shipped out.
4. We've some exciting prospects coming through but let's not forget Harry is still a kid. Maguire for me. Shades it above Coady.
5. Jamie Murphy.
6.I don't recall one stand out goal, though a few good strikes off memory: Baxter vs Oldham, Doyle vs Burton Albion, Flynn vs Tranmere, Flynn vs Villa, but the one I would go for is Flynn vs Bristol City. Great run from Murphy and a cracking low drive from Flynn.

7. The appointment of Clough. The sacking of Weir was brave after such a short space of time but to get Sir Nige in was a masterstroke. Only time will tell if HRH taking us over will be significant.
8. Very difficult to pick just one. Flynn at Villa, Miller at Fulham, Brayford against Charlton, Baxter/Scoogs at Wembley. Picking one, for me, probably Flynn at Villa (the start of the giant-killing journey) edges it by a gnat's pube.
9. Villa Park.
10. Come on, the man has to get a mention.

Pretty much the same with your answers, my only different answer is
9. Out of away games I only went to New York stadium and Wembley. I was impressed with Rotherham's new ground

1. Harry Maguire. Apart from the Coventry, Wolves, Gillingham and Hull the lad's been a rock and deserves to play at a higher level. Comfortably handled Benteke and many other big strikers at this level (Revell, Akinfenwa etc.)
2. Scougall is the only player that can win this surely?
3. Florent Cuvelier was extremely disappointing considering all the hype from Walsall AND Stoke fans. Maybe he didn't have a fair crack but when he was given the opportunity he definitely was not very impressive.
4. Maguire again. Closely followed by Scoogs.
5. I agree, Murphs has improved drastically since the start of December.
6. Jose Baxter v Carlisle. The touch and ball control AND finish was sublime and I can't imagine any other player of ours doing what Jose did.
7. The beginning of the Clough era.
8. Flynn's belter at Villa Park. Closely followed by Scoogs' goal at Wembley.
9. Aye, Villa Park.
10. There's only one John Brayford..!

1. Player of the season. Harry Maguire
2. Best permanent signing of the season. Easy, Nigel Clough.
3. Most disappointing player: Lyle Taylor - expected better.
4. Best Youngster. I'm excluding the first team squad. Why? Because I can! Conor Dimaio - a stunning debut in the circumstances.
5. Most Improved player: Jamie Murphy - we now have the player we thought we'd signed.
6. Goal of the season: that one where Jose Baxter took a pass from Conor Coady and curled it into the corner.
7. Most significant moment of the season: Nigel appointed Manager.
8. Best 'moment' of the season: Wembley ovation when 5-3 down.
9. Best away ground visited. Wembley

1. Player of the season - Jamie Murphy
2. Best permanent signing of the season - Scougall
3. Most disappointing player - McMahaon. His attitude stunk up the place.
4. Best Youngster - Going to match Pinchy and say Dimaio for exactly the same reasons.
5. Most Improved player (since feb)- Doyle. He understands now that Scougs and Coady are his legs and he can pick up the pieces. I still think he is a false economy and we could improve there.
6. Goal of the season - Scougall v Hull at Wembley
7. Most significant moment of the season - Doyle getting sent off, Porter getting injured against Fulham. FOrmation changed and everything came together
8. Best 'moment' of the season - Baxter v Hull at Wembley. Was starting to think we would never score at Wembley again.
9. Best away ground visited - Stevenage's Scout Hut
10. Best beard - I believe Scougs grew some bum fluff but nobody noticed

  1. Mark Howard has been fantastic since he came into the team, Murphy has run defences ragged however Maguire has been a complete rock at the back so I'd give it to Harry.
  2. Baxter has brought a touch of class to the team however it has to be Scoooooooooougaaaaaaall!
  3. Cuvelier looked like a magician on youtube but we didn't see any of it until he got loaned out and injured.
  4. Coady has been solid since Clough came in and his development will only continue.
  5. Jamie Murphy looks like a completely different player this year.
  6. Baxter vs Oldham for sheer brilliance and Flynn vs Aston Villa for the moment.
  7. The appointment of Nigel Clough.
  8. Wembley was brilliant despite the result, but the three minutes of sheer joy vs Charlton was my personal favourite.
  9. Villa Park was really good to visit. Hopefully we'll be making the trip every year in the near future.
  10. Bob Harris ;)

1.MURPHY,not only has he caused havoc but his defensive duties have gone un noticed ,brilliant all round play
2.SCOUGALL,harris ran him close but scouggs is my sort of exciting player
3.BRANDY,no doubting his ability but his attitude has to change and i for one would like it too because i think he would fit into cloughys plans if he could change it but its a big if.
4.COADY,im not just saying it but i wanted to see more of the lad earlier on in the season ,i think hes going to turn into a premiership player in time ,just live in hope we can get him for one more season now it looks like liverpool are going to win the league
5.FLYNN,no doubt about this one for me hes just growing and growing in stature
6.FLYNN,against villa the occasion and it been the winner just made it unbelievable
7.LOSING 3-0 TO CREWE definately for me cloughy realised we had to go back to basics and he made us hard to play against
8.BAXTER SCORING AT WEMBLEY,hopefully that will be the first of many goals my son sees us score at wembley
9.VILLA PARK,very good old fashioned ground ,not classing wembley as an away ground as it was neutral even though i would have chosen villa park anyhow
10.BRAYFORD,like you said he definately deserves something out of this season
