Still no Fleck or Coutts in the Scotland squad but Fletcher and Bannan, who incidentally couldn't get a sniff because of our Midfield, from the horrible lot, gets in again.

Will the Scotland squad ever be picked on merit again?

I noticed this. Strachan picks pretty much the same squad every week. The problem for Fleck and Coutts is that as good as they are playing, Scotland are doing reasonably well and therefore Strachan can justify his selection because they have picked up decent results of late. Saying that, He picks John McGinn every international but he never features and nor does Bannan. If Fleck and Coutts keep playing like they are though I think one of them will get a call up for a friendly at least. In some ways the lack of a call up is a good thing though because it might raise the profile of Fleck or Coutts to another level and I'm quite happy with him being under the radar!

It's a fucking disgrace Fleck and Coutts aren't playing for Scotland when Bannan and Jordan "went to school there for a couple of years" Rhodes are. They might actually qualify for summat if our two were in the mix...

Strachan hasn’t got the faintest clue about managing a national side. I suspect any one of us on here could achieve similar results as he has, which isn’t saying much.

Rhodes doesn't get in the squad anymore since he has turned to crap for the Pigs! They only have selected three forwards and that's where their weakness is. Fletcher still gets in and he's past his best now, hence his retirement package at the Sty!

I think we all would, I'm not sure Fleck and Coutts would see it that way though because they'll have to train either way so a bit of recognition wouldn't go amiss.
