A defeat always seems worse on a Saturday than midweek, partly because we have all evening to brood about it, and partly because it is often a full week before the next game to get it out of the system. Add to that the fact that defeats come harder when you get used to success ('it's not the despair that gets you, it's the hope'), and it all makes for a miserable Saturday evening. But one reason to be cheerful - the last defeat on a Saturday in any competition was August 20 at Millwall. Go that length of time again, and all is well with the world.

5 steps forward and then 1 step back - and often more good comes out of the 1 step back than the 5 steps forward.......onwards and upwards.

And we no longer have the Green Un to improve the mood on a Saturday evening.

All the pigs have found their phones whitty bastards NOT!!!!! Fuck off back under ya turds
