Has he disappeared the mind of a good few people only I don't see him mentioned overly too much when this seasons starting XI's are discussed. He was a breath of fresh air last season, sure he hasn't dropped down the pecking order now?

For me he's not a natural. Needs to be at the absolute top of his game, as he was second half of last season. Definitely one who will be held back by any injuries but hopefully competition this year will keep him up there .

UTB

I was thinking this also. Flynn was a danger last year loved seeing him take on defenders and his exciting runs down the flank.

First 11 should be the same as last year apart from Maguire for Butler/McGahey, Basham for Coady and Davis for Brayford.

Simple.

I think Flynn had a decent season last year but imo I think he tailed off massively towards the end of the campaign. Hope we get the villa Flynn this season again!

I think Scougs signing added a bit to Murphy and Flynn last year as well. I think there was a little scotsman bond going on and they all wanted to prove a point. Regardless the three of them were quality last year. I am hoping that should these three and Mcnulty all feature together that the same thing happens again. Add Higdon and we will all have to sing Flower Of Scotland but balls it if they fire us up into the top two between em then I will swallow my pride and do it.

Doyle and basham? Someone poke my eyes out!

Clough did mention Flynn, Murphy, Scougs and Baxter as being part of the plan for next Sat.

Hoping to see Wallace, McNulty, JCR, Reed and Davies feature too

Personally, I would love to see those that have put in hard graft during the pre season rewarded, rather than those that played well last season and may be coasting. Sets the standard for everyone in this important season.

Higdons a scouser ....maybe YNWA ?:)

Scouser who is well in with the scottish lads though lol Had a top relationship on the pitch with Murphy in Scotland, those two were prolific together apparently.
