Think I've got one on the shelf at home, will have a look tonight for you.

I could do with one as well. Did Ron bring out a sequel as well?

"We were rough and ready guys, but oh how we could harmonise..."

would be interesting to borrow a copy and read.

As you may guess, I am of an age :-)

Yes ,copies of that one are still available. fantastic cover with Little irish on the front.

The first is about the 1950s and 1960s (mainly about Dronfield, music and SUFC) and the 2nd is about the 1970s,

That`s a good old un, loved the previous line..."When we were kids, on the corner of Shoreham Street"

Ronnie mailed me a copy of the first one out to Botswana just before we left for Oz about a year ago and said he didn`t have any copies of the 2nd one available, mentioned something about trying to print/fund it himself rather than though a publisher.

Turns out I don't have one on the shelf after all, possibly in the attic, plus I only have one copy which I'll want to keep hold of so would have been lending rather than selling :)

that happened with my John Shuttleworth cd ,I was going to re-purchase it but its about 30 quid ,turns out it had been lent out twice more ,but at least I got it back. Thanks everyone re the book btw.

Which one of Sheffield's greatest living singer songwriter's CDs is changing hands for £30? Not that I'd sell any of mine, just curious.

The Yamaha years ,just looked its down to £18 this week but only 2 left ,even the cheapest 2nd hand is on at £16 ,you could say they are up and down like a brides nightie :)

Thought it was Iron Bar Jack!

My first week at University in Manchester, I saw a T-Shirt out of the corner of my eye for just a split second and could have sworn on the T-Shirt were Iron Bar Jack and his mate.

its little Irish ,Dave Carson due to there already being an 'Irish' .Don't think Iron bar is too well these days ,but still see him at the Lane.
